Sir Padampat Singhania Education Centre (SPSEC), Kanpur, celebrated Raksha Bandhan with a meaningful initiative that extended the spirit of the festival beyond traditional bonds.

With the thought A Simple Thread. A Lasting Bond, students tied rakhis to police personnel, Nagar Nigam staff and media personnel, expressing their gratitude towards those who serve, protect and contribute to the community.

Celebrating Bonds Beyond the Family

Raksha Bandhan symbolises care, respect and a promise of protection. Through this special celebration, SPSEC students experienced how these values can extend to the people who work every day for the well-being of society.

The simple gesture of tying a rakhi became an expression of appreciation and respect, helping young learners understand the importance of recognising the contributions of people around them.
